Storm Alert Subscription

Storm Alert is a paid subscription service that sends email alerts when a hurricane's forecast cone approaches a location you are monitoring.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe
  • Cancel at any time from your account dashboard
  • Refunds evaluated case by case — contact ybinstock@gmail.com
  • Alert delivery is best-effort; we do not guarantee timeliness relative to official NHC updates
  • Never use storm alerts as a substitute for official evacuation guidance

Payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not store card details.

Authentication uses email verification codes via Supabase Auth. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetStormRisk and its operator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or any alerts sent. The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Do not make evacuation or safety decisions based solely on GetStormRisk alerts.

Acceptable Use

You may not use this site to spread misinformation about storm forecasts, harvest data in bulk contrary to the spirit of the public API, or engage in any activity that disrupts or damages the service.
